Veteran J. Lee Gersten Appointed President of KlearGear.com
San Antonio, TX, February 26, 2007 - KlearGear.com (www.kleargear.com),
a leading online retailer of office toys and gadgets, today announced the
replacement of interim retail president Will Bermender with retail veteran J.
Lee Gersten, effective Monday, March 12th.
Gersten, whose 22-year career in retail spans senior
marketing and operations management positions at J. C. Penney and Montgomery
Ward, has spent the past six years consulting for emerging and growth-oriented
retail brands across the globe. He replaces Chenal Brands development executive Bermender who,
during his dual 8-month tenure as KlearGear's head of retail, helped establish client KlearGear's North American logistics
framework in Texas, Michigan and Oregon in association with the business process
outsourcer and Descoteaux Boutiques shareholder.
"Serving as KlearGear's Chief Geek during the past year has been a blast,"
Bermender beamed. "When we met Lee, we knew he was the right leader to address
our rapid growth and evolving product design unit. I'm excited to pass the torch
to Lee and anxious to watch him lead KlearGear to the next level while I continue growing Chenal into a full-service partner."
